The Red Roo PL1801 PLUGR Aerator is a powerful and highly manoeuvrable commercial aerator designed for residential and commercial aeration applications.
Powered by a genuine 5.5 hp (4 kW) Honda GX160 engine, the compact 455 mm (18") PL1801 uses reciprocating cam-driven tines to help propel the machine forward while driving cores up to 70 mm (2.75") deep, even in difficult soil conditions.
Unlike traditional drum-style aerators, the PL1801 does not require additional weights to achieve effective tine penetration. This makes the machine easier to manoeuvre and operate while still delivering deep, consistent core aeration.
No-lift turning significantly reduces operator fatigue, particularly when working on residential lawns or areas requiring frequent turns. An ergonomic ISO-mounted handle also helps reduce vibration during extended operation.
A longer belt span improves belt declutching and helps increase belt life. Red Roo describes the PL1801 as the best-selling aerator in Australia and New Zealand.
